Little Joe presents A Bigger Splash

With director Jack Hazan in conversation with Stuart Comer

Tuesday 31 January 7.00pm

Join Little Joe as they launch A Little Film Club, supported by Film London's Community Pilot Fund, a monthly programme alternating between the Cinema Museum in Kennington and The Rio Cinema in Dalston.

Their first screening is Jack Hazan's controversial homoerotic love story A Bigger Splash focusing on the best-known British artist of his generation, David Hockney, with the director talking about his amalgam of documentary and fantasy with Tate Film curator Stuart Comer.

Refreshments will be available before and after the screening.

Little Joe have created a limited edition poster that will be available to purchase at the event.

A Bigger Splash Jack Hazan, UK, 1973, 106mins

From 1971-1973, Jack Hazan gained intimate access to David Hockney and his circle of friends and lovers to create A Bigger Splash. Using a 'structured reality' format rather than pure documentary, he crafted a mesmerising film, groundbreaking in style and daring in nature.
